They feature an innovative formula that combines two medications to relieve diarrhea as well as excess gas in the stomach or intestines, bloating, stomach cramps, pressure, pain, and the stuffed or filled feeling due to gas. Each lactose-free caplet contains 2 milligrams of the anti-diarrhea medication loperamide hydrochloride, and 125 milligrams of the anti-gas medication simethicone. To use, adults & children 12+ take 2 caplets initially followed by one caplet after each loose bowel movement. Do not take more than 4 caplets in 24 hours. Take only on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal) with a full (250 mL) glass of water. Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea.
